Kampala: NBS television presenter Kawalya Isaac commonly known as Kayz has been remanded to Kitalya prison till October 15 2021. Considered a university of Understanding, by the time the mortal mouthed presenter returns,he will know how best to use his big….,long….proboscis.
Like all teenagers, Kayz is not alone, he has been sent to the coolers alongside his peers, Brian Wako and William Makuliro aka “Mako”. The two work with sister station Sanyuka Television.
The accused appeared before Buganda Road Magistrate Court where they were charged and remanded. According to the charges, the four, including Ibrahim Tusubira aka ‘Isma Olaxes Ichuli’ are of offensive communication and libel, said to have committed them on August 27, 2021 while at Sanyuka Television, Next Media Services Ltd in Kampala City.
It is alleged that they talked about Mr. Ssuuna’s family, his financial status and accused him of being tormented by evil spirits.
Although, officially, on record there’s only one complainant Omulangira Suuna (OS) of the white Music empire, several artists have been complaining about the uncouth manner in which Kayz treats them whenever he invites them on his show.
“The ka guy needs to learn. I hope this will pump some sense in him. He invites you on his show but all he does is to bash you as opposed to discussion. Because he gets a few likes on social media he thinks he has nailed it (akikubye),” commented one of the victims.
Kayz too didn’t hide his predicament, through his admin he posted on his social media handle thus; “I have been remanded to Kitalya Prison. All will be well my people”.
According to our sources at CPS, the trio will spend a night at CPS as they wait the prisons bus to Kitalya. “Yes,we have them here waiting for the prisons bus. They will be picked tomorrow,” our CPS source told our spy.
Sources have also told our spy that Uganda Bloggers Association head Ibrahim Tusubira alias Isma Olaxess is also on wanted list over similar offences.
