Entebbe: Five Suspects Arrested By State House Anti-Corruption Remanded Over Criminal Trespass & Malicious Damage

The State House Anti Corruption Unit (SH-ACU) in liaison with Uganda Police have arraigned at the Entebbe Court five suspects on charges of criminal trespass & malicious damage.

The suspects include; Mpandi Sadam, Muwanga Jeff, Kamadha Lumala, Kagoro Mugitaba & Kajubi Musa who have been remanded to Kigo until 13/04/2022.

According to the Unit, the accused were arrested for criminal trespass and malicious damage to the property of the late Kigozi John Baptist of Kakindu, Katabi Town Council.

”Another suspect Baluku Johaz is still on the run,” says the Unit.

SH-ACU was established under Article 99(4) of the constitution of Uganda, which gives the President executive powers to either directly or indirectly perform his duties or through officers subordinate to him.

Launched on 10th December 2018, SH-ACU coordinates with all constitutionally mandated agencies to ensure that complaints raised by citizens are resolved.

The Unit also acts as a link between H.E. the President, citizens and Anti- Corruption agencies in relation to the Anti-Corruption issues.
