The Equatorial Guinea Vice President H.E Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue commended the quality work produced by Southern Range Nyanza Limited during his guided tour of the facility this week.
He appreciated the government of Uganda for supporting local industries which enables the growth of country’s economy.
The Vice President appreciated the quality of work done by Nytil and urged them to maintain it before pledging to cooperate with the Ugandan government for the further promotion of industrial growth.
The Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs Hon Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja lauded Nytil for being part of Buy Uganda Build Uganda (BUBU).
“The raw materials used are from Uganda, employees are Ugandans,so this has boosted the income of the people as well as contributing to Uganda’s economic growth,” Hon Ssempijja noted.
The Chairman Southern Range Nyanza Limited (Nytil) Mr. Kishor Jobanputra thanked the government of Uganda for the unwavering support which has eased production.
He said 100% of raw materials used in manufacturing are bought from Uganda which has given Ugandans an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of their Country.
Southern Range Nyanza Limited – NYTIL is an East African Textile manufacturing company producing uniforms for Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces, Uganda Police Force and Uganda Prison Service.
It also produces protective gears for health workers on top of producing uniforms for the Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan armies.
The delegation was welcomed by Southern Range Nyanza Limited Vice Chairman Mr. Mitul Jobanputra, General manager Mr. Vinay Kumar and Sales manager Mr. Arsu Mudaltar, among others.
