The Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed Ali has landed in Uganda for an official two-days visit.
President Museveni received his counterpart at state house Entebbe on Friday at midday. He is expected to be the main guest for the Heroes’ Day celebrations in a newly created Kakumiro District this Saturday.
Senior presidential press secretary Don Wanyama revealed that Premier Abiy will receive the Most Excellent Order of the Pearl of Africa medal.
” President M7 has decided to give him this medal because of his contribution towards bringing peace and Unity around Africa as a continent,” he said.
Mr. Abiy was recently sworn in by Ethiopian parliament as Prime Minister of Ethiopia after Hailemariam Desalegn resigned.
