Event promoters and organizers in Uganda have come together to warn the Uganda Police Force and threaten to drag the institution to the courts of law should they fail to allow Bobi Wine continue with his music shows.
While in an interview on TV, Abitex & Emma promotions warned Kayima for failing to give them clear explanations as to why they had cancelled all Bobi Wine shows.
It is believed that Bobi Wine had been booked to perform in over 40 shows all around Uganda but since no event is supposed to be staged without the Police’s approval, whenever these organisers go to the police to ask them to clear their shows; they just end up cancelling them.
“We are going to serve the Police by Tuesday next week if they refuse to give us a clear explanation as to why they are cancelling all our shows, we are making so many losses since we invest too much in these concerts”, Emma and Abitex warned.
