Kampala: According to a list released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) dated 17th December 2020, a couple of referees have been awarded FIFA badges.

Out of the selected, 23 Ugandan Referees were approved by the FIFA referees committee as suitable for the FIFA badges. Engineer Moses Mogogo, the FUFA president on Sunday officially presided over the ceremony of handing them the badges at Kati Kati, Kampala.
The 23 Ugandan FIFA referees for 2021 are as follows;
Male referees: Ssali Mashood, Muhabi Alex, Sabilla Ali Chelangat, Oloya William, and Ronald Madanda.
Assistant referees: Okello Dick, Katenya Ronald, Okello Lee, Masembe Isa, Mulindwa Hakim, Okudra Emmanuel.
Futsal Referees:Â Nsubuga Brian Emmy, Sengendo Isaac.
Beach Soccer: Kintu Ivan Bayige, Mugerwa Shafic, Ssenteza Muhammad, and Kawagga Bazirio Kennedy.

Nabadda Shamirah and Murungi Diana who were among the referees who officiated the game against Onduparaka and Vipers in Arua are the only two women referees awarded the FIFA badges.
However, Nantabo Lydia Wanyama, Nakitto Marex Nkumbi, Mutonyi Jane, and Atuhaire Docus were selected as the assistant women’s referees.
Magogo congratulated the victors and applauded their hard work and later joined them in a group photo together with other FUFA officials.
