Forbes Releases 2019 List Of Top 10 Richest People In Uganda And Their Net Worth, Sudhir Still On Top!

City businessman Dr.Sudhir Ruparelia has again topped the list of Uganda’s 10 richest people in latest rankings, according to Forbes Magazine 2019 research.

He is the director and majority shareholder in the Ruparelia Group of companies. His investments are mainly in the areas of education, broadcasting, banking, insurance, real estate, floriculture, hotels, and resorts. (Ultram)

Among other individuals on the list include Karim Hirji, Mohammed Hamid, Charles Mbiire, Gordon Wavamuno, Alykhan Kharmali, Sikander Lalani, Aaron M Mukooza, Mukesh Shukla and Patrick Bitature.

  1. Patrick Bitature

    Bitature is a wealthy man who acquires the largest portion of his money through a giant telecom company, Simba Telecom, which he presides over.

As Simba Telecom Ltd is regarded as Uganda’s biggest seller/merchant of MTN airtime, Bitature’s wealth has surged perpetually and as the chairman of the giant telecom company, his current net worth hangs around $100 million.

    Shukla is reported to have acquired $100 million as net worth mainly from his ownership of Shumuk Group of Companies a successful company concerned with cooking utensils.
