Kampala: Sad news coming in indicate that Kampala Lord Mayor Salongo Erias Lukwago has been flown to Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya as he’s reportedly in critical condition.
Despite not revealing details of Lukwago’s health conditions, sources close to him say there’s a ‘problem’ with his kidney, causing respiratory complications.
Lukwago has for the past few days been receiving treatment from Rubaga and Mulago hospitals before he was referred to Nairobi for further ‘management’.
Reports indicate that his condition is improving, adding that Lukwago used an Uganda Airlines that departed from Entebbe to Nairobi at 9pm local time on Tuesday.
“The Lord Mayor has been receiving treatment for a specific illness in Mulago Hospital, and another Hospital in Kampala but the doctors deemed it fit to recommend him to their colleagues in Nairobi. He will be back,” the source claimed.
