Fresh Kid, Uganda’s youngest rapper and an inspiration to many, has secured a 6-year scholarship to Hana International School, owned by tycoon Hamis Kiggundu, where he will pursue his secondary education. This milestone follows his impressive journey through Kampala Parents School, owned by tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia, where he completed his primary education.
The scholarship initiative was championed by Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, who fulfilled her promise of providing Fresh Kid with free secondary education at a prestigious international institution. Notably, the arrangement ensures Fresh Kid will continue performing at weekend shows, just as he did during his primary education.
Fresh Kid’s rise to fame is a testament to resilience and talent. From humble beginnings, juggling education and music, he has continuously inspired young people across Uganda. His recent PLE (Primary Leaving Examination) results were remarkable, securing his place as both a scholar and an artist.
