FUFA Big League: Proline Find Redemption As Blacks Power FC Cruise Past Paidha

After a disappointing 1-0 defeat in their previous game at home against Tooro United, Proline recollected selves to win 3-1 against Terrazo and Tiles at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara on Thursday in the FUFA Big League matchday three.

The first half ended in a goalless stalemate with both sides displaying a solid defending but the visitors through Ivan Ocholit turned events in the 68th minute to find the opener.

Four minutes later, former Uganda Cranes and Vipers striker doubled the lead for the visitors.

Noordin Bunjo slotted home the third for Proline to seal the victory before Emmanuel Balyejuusa netted a consolation for the hosts from a penalty spot in the 88th minute.

Proline head coach Anthony Bongoole fielded five academy players in the names of Richard Ajuna, Joshua Okiror, Juma Ssebaduka, Noordin Bunjo and Alpha Ssali.

Meanwhile, Blacks Power FC comfortably cruised past Paidha Black Angels 2-0 at the Emokori Grounds.

Micheal Siwu’s 87th-minute spot-kick and Gilbert lboot’s 90+ goal were enough to hand the Bukedea based side victory as they look forward to Face-off with BUL FC in the Stanbic bank Uganda Cup in their next match.

This was their second consecutive win following a bad start with a 3-1 loss to Arua Hills FC but recollected themselves to win 1-0 Against Calvary in matchday day 2 and now overcoming former Star Times Uganda Premier League opponent Paidha Black Angels.

Paidha’s forward Obai Fenihas was shown a red card in the 90th minute which means he will even miss their tie Against the premier league side Solito Bright Stars in the Stanbic bank Uganda Cup.
