FUFA Pushes Big League Kick-Off To March 25th

Kampala: The Star-Times FUFA Big League 2020/21 season that was supposed to kick-off on March 18th with the first round ending on April 8 has been extended.

“EXTENDED: The StarTimes FUFA Big League 2020/21 season Kickoff has been extended to 25th March 2021. The FUFA Competitions Department has confirmed the change of date for the kickoff of the FUFA Big League from 18th March to 25th March 2021,” posted FUFA on Facebook.

This has been announced by the FUFA Competitions Department that has now confirmed the change of dates for the kick-off of the league to 25th March 2021.

Earlier this month, on 5th March, the fixtures for the Big League were released in a bid to inform the teams about their opening games.

Luwero United (Buganda Region), Gaddafi (Eastern Region), Terrazo and Tiles (Western Region) and Calvary (West Nile Region) qualified from Regional League to FUFA Big League for the forthcoming season.

Maroons, Tooro United and Proline FC were relegated from UPL to Big League.

According to FUFA, when the League resumes, all games will be played under strict observance of Covid19 regulations.
