Presidential Adviser on Special Operations Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, was on Wednesday hosted by the France Ambassador to Uganda H.E Jules-Armand Aniambossou, at the French Embassy in Kampala, where they discussed matters concerning security and business relations between France and Uganda.
Spy Uganda has established that most of matters they discussed, especially in regards to security, were treated as high confidential.
However, our Spy intimated that Aniambossou assured Gen. Muhoozi about the continuation of the good economic and security relations between Uganda and France, including exchanging intelligence to combat terrorism.
While commenting about the meeting, Gen. Muhoozi wrote thus on social media;
“Yesterday it was my great pleasure to meet the new French Ambassador, His Excellency Jules-Armand Aniambossou. We discussed our excellent security cooperation programs. The Franco-Uganda strategic alliance continues to be very strong. Welcome to Uganda
@JaAniambossou”
In reply, Amb. Aniambossou also tweeted thus; “Thank you General @mkainerugabafor honouring our invitation. It was indeed a great pleasure receiving you at the French Residence. Long live the Uganda – France cooperation.”
