Give Us Our Son Or We Burn Hospital! Tamale Mirundi’s Spirits,Medical Doctors In Bitter Fight Over Superiority!

On Wednesday morning, ailing senior journalist Joseph Tamale Mirundi, senior presidential advisor on media, woke up feeling a bit energetic and demanded he needed to talk to two senior journalists. This assignment was given to his closest son, Tamale Mirundi Jr, who reached out to his father’s closest journalist Sir Simon Muyaanga Lutaaya of the SML news and Spy Uganda’s CEO Andrew Irumba Katusabe.

The duo immediately took the express highway so they could arrive in record time, and in 45 minutes the above mentioned journalists were at Kisubi Hospital, along Entebbe road, where Joseph Tamale Mirundi has been admitted for two weeks now, battling for his life. As soon as they arrived, his son Tamale Jr who was driving behind them, also arrived.
As soon as Tamale senior saw the two journalists, he gathered some energy and sat on his bed. His wife, Tamale Jr’s mother, after greeting us, together with her other children, all excused themselves from the room and the duo remained with Joseph Tamale senior alone, and later were joined by Tamale Mirundi’s elder brother who is also the heir to their dad, we came to learn later.

Tamale Opens Up

Tamale, in his usual antics, started telling the journalists how he spent the whole night “defending” the hospital over his spirits which wanted to burn the hospital demanding to take their son and ‘treat’ him themselves since they (spirits) are the ones who know what exactly is disturbing him!
We first took it as a joke, not wanting to believe him, thinking he had started his usual antics again, until his wife came and confirmed thus; “Tamale fell down 4 times the previous night, now the doctors want to do a scan on him and see whether he was affected internally”, she said. Now, this  collaborated with Tamale’s submission to the journalists earlier.

“I told these people (Kibuli hospital) to treat their part then leave the other to my Jajjas, they refused to listen, last night my Jajjas came demanding for my release from here, I fought them the whole night, I fell off the bed 4 times while fighting until I overpowered them. But I told these people not to tamper with what they don’t know,” Tamale narrated in Luganda language…..”(Bano nabagambye bajanjabeko ebyawe ebyekizungu ebilala babindekere nebagaana, ekiro bajaja bazze wano katono bookye eddwaliro. Nalwanye nabo kate banzite. Bankubye ebiggwo 4 okuva kukitanda paka wansi, nga mbalina pe hi pe hi nembanyweza, kate ekisenge kikwate omuliro, bano nagambye waliwo webatalina kukwata tebawulira 🤣.”

When his wife entered the room,Tamale cut the story short and shifted the topic, to something else! 🤣 But his wife who had brought in Kitafeeri juice for him, confirmed the narrative when Spy Chief Irumba stealthily asked her this;” Is it true the man fell down 4 times last night?” to which she answered, “alimba, gyabadde 3 gyokka wama” (it was July 3 times not 4). This now confirmed Tamale’s narrative.

In a good note however, Kisubi Hospital doctors have done a tremendous job already on him, he has greatly improved,” Irumba noted on his Facebook post soon after he left.

He wrote thus; “I and Sir Simon Muyaanga Lutaaya visited our senior elder in journalism, Mr Joseph Tamale Mirundi, who has been admitted at Kisubi Hospital Entebbe for two weeks now. Mirundi has greatly improved, according to doctors and attendants, and according to how he was admitted. We were received by his wife Florence Namayanja, the mother to Tamale Mirundi Jr. We wish him a quick recovery, zidemu okuvuga”.

Mirundi Junior Caught On Camera Demolishing His Dad’s Food

Yes, you may have known him for a long time as Joseph Tamale Mirundi Junior,but since his dad’s admission into Kisubi Hospital, Junior has admittedly earned his 5th name;”Ssabajanjabi” . If you’re his close buddy, next time you meet him don’t bother calling out all the 5 names, he will understand that you’re calling him out of the many by simply shouting “Ssabajanjabi”!
But this has come with actions accompanied. Please if you’re taking food to the patient called Tamale, if you indeed wish him to eat it, double the package for two people, one is for “Ssabajanjabi” automatically! On Wednesday,our Spy caught Junior on camera eating the KFC chicken 🍗 brought by Gen Katumba Wamala who had visited him earlier. The State Minister for Lands who happens to be Junior’s boss Mayanja who brought more packages of chicken from KFC, pork drum sticks, sodas, yoghurt etc was left speechless when Junior piloinced on them even before he had left 5h4 hospital!

Money Money Money

According to sources, the only money Joseph Senior received is the shs50K Irumba handed over to Junior on Camera, during Muyanga show,and the one him and Muyanga handed over physically to Tamale Senior in the hospital yesterday, the rest of the money believed to be in millions, from Hajji Ham Kiggundu, Gen Katumba, Gen Saleh among others, the young man said he’s keeping it for him till he gets better! “Is he your day? He’s my dad, I’m the chief Ssabajanjabi, so I keep his money, who are you to ask me for accountability? You people mumanyidde nnyo family yaffe. Has Mirundi senior sent you to ask for accountability? Let him get well, we shall sort ourselves,” Mirundi Junior took Muyanga by the collar!🤣.
