Kampala: In partnering with VoA, GOtv looks to reward ardent listeners of Voice of Africa radio and loyal subscribers of GOtv. During the activations, teams from GOtv and Voice of Africa will visit Kibuli Mosque, Gadafi Mosque and Wandegeya Mosque, to hand over Iftar and other goodies.

The activations will climax with an exciting grand draw where three final winners will be awarded at the end of the month.
While delivering Iftar to the Masjid Takuwa in Kyengera, Colin Asiimwe, Head of Marketing, MultiChoice Uganda, said; “We thank our Voice of Africa customers for their ardent support and are pleased to be joining the Voice of Africa team in ensuring that we use the Holy month of Ramadhan to give back to the people who are loyal to us.”

Hajjati Nsubuga Madina, the Marketing Manager, Voice of Africa, revealed; “Voice of Africa will be identifying winners based on a quiz that requires customers to call into the studio, answer these questions and win a variety of prizes,” adding that, “at the end of the holy month, three final winners will be awarded in an EID celebration ceremony at the Voice of Africa offices.”

The overall winner will be rewarded with a grand prize of UGX. 1 million and 1 year of GOtv Max Subscription, while the first runner up will get 6 months of GOtv Max subscription and UGX. 500,000.
The second runner-up will receive 3 months of GOtv Max subscription and UGX. 300,000.
This is the third year GOtv and Voice of Africa are partnering on Ramadan activations with a goal of positively impacting the Muslim community during the Holy month of Ramadan. This year’s activations are intended to impact at least 2,000 Muslims in the different parts of Kampala.
