Gov’t Approves Over 700 Premier Recruitment Job Orders

Kampala: Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development has boosted fight unemployment campaign in Uganda after approving over 700 job orders from Qatar based Aletqan Manpower company through Uganda’s leading Premier Recruitment Company.

Approval Letter For 200 Security Guards

It is worth noting that last week Aletqan Manpower company requested Premier Recruitment to recruit for them over 800 workers that would earn between QAR 100 (UShs1m) and QAR 1000 (UGX1.1m) per person on addition of free meals.

Just like any law abiding company, Premier Recruitment though an approval from Ministry of Labor that has since given the company green light by responding positively to the same.

Ministry of Labor’s approval has been confirmed via a couple of approval letters dated February 9, 2020, signed by Permanent Secretary Lawrence Egulu, addressed to the Director Premier Recruitment Limited.

Egulu notes that the approvals were made after evaluating and found that the company meets the requirements of the pertinent provisions of the Employment (Recruitment of Ugandan Migrant Workers Abroad) Regulation, 2005 and Guideline 13.0 of the Guidelines on the Recruitment and Placement of Uganda Migrant Workers Abroad 2015.

“The purpose of this letter, therefore, is to inform you that the (200) employment opportunities offered by ALETQAN MANPOWER in Qatar have been posted and are advertised on our website,” Egulu said.

He however urged the company to continue following the provisions of the Regulations and Guidelines throughout the recruitment and deployment process of the approved categories of Ugandan migrant workers.

Among the approved categories include; 200 waiters, 100 labors, 50 carpenters, 50 painters, 200 security guards, 100 electrical technicians.
