Ugandan Ambassador to Cannada, Cuba and Commonwealth of Bahama’s Her Excellency Joy Ruth Achieng has called upon all elected leaders for the 2021-2026 term to stand behind the newly elected and inaugurated capable leader, President of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in his mission of transforming Uganda into a middle-income state before the elapse of his new term, 2021-2026.

Achieng revealed this via her audio-visual congratulatory message to Museveni as he took an Oath yesterday for the 6th term as elected President of Uganda.

”I congratulate H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for successfully being elected for the 6th term as the President of the Republic of Uganda,” she says adding thus; ”he was elected through successful, democratic, and peaceful means.”

The Ambassador also commended Ugandans for making a fruitful decision of placing their future into the hands of a capable leader (Museveni) by re-electing him massively for the next five years.

”I campaigned for President Museveni and I was shocked with the love and confidence Ugandans have in Museveni,” she said.

She adds, ”It is from that background that I call up on all elected leaders despite their political affiliations to rally behind President Museveni to deliver Uganda to better economic status.”

On there hand, the Ambassador hailed President Museveni for the huge effort through the Ministry of Health exercised to curb the notorious COVID-19 that has left millions dead in a couple of countries.

TheSpy Uganda understands that globally, as of 13 May 2021, there have been 160,074,267 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 3,325,260 deaths, reported to WHO. As of 12 May 2021, a total of 1,264,164,553 vaccine doses have been administered.

”I thank President for the effort of curbing the deadly COVID-19 by ensuring that health facilities are well equipped with medicine, free vaccination of all Ugandans. We can’t take those for granted,” added Joy Ruth.

Further, the Ambassador thanked Museveni for ensuring and maintaining peace in Uganda, the East African region and the African continent at large.

It’s worth noting that the Ugandan government for a couple of years has deployed scores of troops to various countries in Africa in a bid to ensure stability at the continental level.

Among the countries that have benefited from Uganda’s sympathetic and supportive heart include, Equatorial Guinea, Somalia, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Iraq among others.
