Hajji Kamoga Muhammad, the CEO of Kamoga Property Consultants, has filed a lawsuit against popular radio presenter and DJ Ssuuna Ben, accusing him of making defamatory statements that have severely damaged his reputation and business.

According to Kamoga’s legal representatives, Kusingura Tindyembwa & Co. Advocates, the dispute stems from allegations made by Ssuuna Ben that Kamoga connived with his estranged girlfriend, Nambwayo, to illegally take over his land and house properties.
The claims, which have been ongoing since July 2024, were reportedly made in several locations, including Makutano in Nansana, Kampala, Mbarara, and Masaka. These public statements, Kamoga asserts, have led to significant damage to his reputation and business operations.

Kamoga’s legal team demands that Ssuuna Ben retract the allegations and issue a public apology through social media. If the apology is not made within 24 hours of receiving the legal notice, Kamoga is seeking UGX 900 million in compensation for defamation, along with UGX 10 million to cover legal fees.

The situation escalated further after Ssuuna Ben continued to label Kamoga as a “thief” despite the matter being under judicial review. In response, Kamoga has warned that if Ssuuna Ben fails to comply with the demand, both civil and criminal legal action will be pursued at his own cost. Kamoga’s legal representatives have also cautioned individuals linked to these claims, urging them to distance themselves from the issue.
As the case unfolds, the public awaits to see how the courts will handle this ongoing dispute between the two parties.
