He might have missed the BET Awards but Tanzania’s star Diamond Platinumz has truly had the career of a lifetime, especially in these past few years.
His latest achievement is a big one, too, as he recently bagged the 2021 African Artist of the Year courtesy of the 5th edition of Ghana Music Awards-United Kingdom.
Platinumz was battling against other African artists including Master KG of South Africa, Nigeria’s Davido, Patorankin, Wizkid, Mercy Chinwo, Mercy Osinachi and Burna Boy.

The event was held on Saturday, October 9, at Royal Regency, London.
Diamond not only is he the most sought after artist in Tanzania and East Africa, but also he’s currently making his mark with a string of powerful performances at places like Atlanta in the US.
