Health Ministry Gives Kawolo Hospital Shs500m Facelift

Lugazi: Residents of Buikwe, Mukono, Lugaza and surrounding areas are singing praises for the ministry of Health because of refurbishing Kawolo Hospital.

Our Spies in Lugazi reveal that the Health Ministry has in the recent past spent close to Shs500m on Kawolo hospital, which money was used to repair damaged wards, purchase new medical equipment and boost service delivery at the health facility.

Kawolo hospital is one of the busiest health facilities in eastern Uganda, serving as far Jinja and other parts of Busoga region.

While unveiling the hospital’s new look, Ministry of health Permanent Secretary Dr. Diana Atwine stated thus;
“We present to you the completed Kawolo Hospital. Our attention is now going to Busolwe Hospital which is under the same project.

We now challenge the hospital management to take full responsibility of proper maintenance for this infrastructure and equipment, but also to give them full meaning by ensuring satisfactory services to our people.”
