Here We Don’t Tolerate Nonsense: Tanzania’s Star Harmonize Arrested In Kenya For Dodging Shows

By Spy Uganda Correspondent

Tanzanian singer Rajab Abdul Kahali, alias Harmonize was over the weekend apprehended and held at Kenya’s Kileleshwa Police Station.

Sources privy to the developments say the music star was arrested in connection to a simmering scandal of allegedly failing to appear at several clubs in Nairobi for performances despite having received money for the same.

Harmonize was reported to the Police by Melamani who organized the event. Melamani Limited is a Kenyan entertainment and events promotion company that provides video streaming, arts promotion, music production, digital marketing.

According to Melamani, fans were not contented with how Harmonize performed. They cited that they had paid much money and they deserved a better performance from the star not five minutes he gave them in few of the shows he performed.

Meanwhile, Eric Omondi, the self-proclaimed president of comedy in Africa said that there was a misunderstanding from fans on what Harmonize was expected to do at the club.

“A lot of things happened, it was a party and some people were excited…the club was small. There is a difference between a concert and/or event. Kenyans must understand that it was a club appearance/technical appearance/meet and greet/ an afterparty,” Eric Omondi said.
