Kampala: The National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches of Uganda (NFBPC) under its new leadership of His Grace Archbishop Dr. Moses Odongo, the General Overseer is committed to shaping the narrative of Balokole.
During his consecration ceremony at Kololo Independence Grounds on September,26, 2023 that was graced by His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni President and first Lady Janet Kataha Museveni, Dr. Odongo swore-in his Cabinet Ministers with whom he will run a five year term (2023-2028).
Logical-frameworkHe appointed Dr. James Kisaale as Prime Minister and 40 Ministers including our very own Pan Africanist Comrade Dr. Kisembo Ronex Tendo as Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs.
The newly elected cabinet was also hosted to a two week retreat at Gaeuga, Entebbe after the consecration ceremony.
The retreat was intended to induct Ministers into NFBPC Mission and Vision and most importantly, to develop a Strategic Development Plan for the 2023-2028 term.
True to their aspiration, after a week long residential retreat, the Ministers with the help of a hired consultant were able to come up with a 5 year Strategic Development Plan.
This called for Launch Ceremony and on Monday 4th December 2023, the NFBPC Strategic Development Plan was unveiled to the public at a colorful function held at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
The launch was graced by the Government Chief Whip Hon. Hamson Obua who represented Prime Minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja as the guest of honor.
The Launch of NFBPC Strategic Development Plan was broadcast live on NBS TV and STV.
The Breakfast Launch was attended by many prominent Pastors in Kampala and from upcountry, notable among them, Apostle Grace Lubega of The Phaneroo Ministries and Pr. Solomon of STV.
The NFBPC Council of Elders, National Governing Council (NGC), Regional Overseers, Constitutional Review Commission Members and Corporate Companies – Strategic Partners (Stanbic Bank, Opportunity Bank) were also in attendance.
In his message to the invited guests, the Archbishop Dr. Moses Odongo called upon his Cabinet Ministers to immediately put on their work boots and hit the ground running. “Colleagues, now that our Strategic Development Plan has been officially launched, the time to work begins now.” he said.
In her message delivered by Hon.Hamson Obua, Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Robinah Nabanja commended NFBPC for their supportive role in pushing for the implementation of Government Programmes including the Parish Development Mode (PDM)l and promised full support and partnership with the news leadership.
Dummies of the Strategic Development Plan were signed and a copy was sent out to the Prime Minister.
The National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches of Uganda was formed in 1990 to provide credible representation of itself to the government and the public as a voice for all Pentecostal churches in the country. The Fellowship has a membership of over 35,000 member churches with approximately 9 million believers across the country. Enjoy some Pictorial below.
