Horror:Man Arrested Entering Parliament To Deliver Child’s Chopped ‘Bloody Head’ To Kadaga

Kampala: Police are investigating a man who allegedly delivered a child’s head at the parliament building disguised as a wrapped gift for speaker Rebecca Kadaga.

The man who has been identified as Nuwashaba Joseph male adult aged 22yrs, Resident of Kizinda Bushenyi – Ishaka municipality in Bushenyi district, who was intercepted at the parliament gate opposite the National Theatre by security while trying to access the speaker’s office.

When asked by security where he was going, he said he was delivering a gift to the Speaker.

This prompted the security officers to ask what was in the gift parcel and on opening it, they reportedly discovered that it was a child’s head.

He was readily apprehended and briefly detained at Parliament police before being whisked away to Kampala Central Police Station.

Our reporter later observed a security detail carrying a black briefcase with gloves, being taken out of the parliament building.

Police officers at the security checkpoint described the man as a smart, composed man, with a face mask.

Helen Kaweesa, the assistant director of communications and public affairs at Parliament said that her office is yet to receive an official report from the Police.

Meanwhile, according to the statement released by police on the above matter, said that it had received a report of murder of unknown seaming kid that was headless (torso) in Kijabweni and therefore still investigates to find out whether this was the murdered kid.

“The two separate body parts are being examined by our medical experts to establish whether they bear the same DNA and upon proof, the suspect will be charged of murder,” police statement reads.

It adds, “Uganda Police condemns such incomprehensible acts of crime, and we wish to assure the general public that the investigations are vigorously being undertaken to ensure that the perpetrators are taken to Court.”
