IGP Sends 120 Police Officers To Kabalye For Refresher Course

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martins Okoth Ochola has sent one hundred and twenty police (120) officers to Kabalye Police Training School in Masindi for Training of Trainers (TOT) course.

According to the official message released from police General headquarters on January 2nd, 2019, signed by Senior Commissioner of police Geoffrey Musana , the selected officers are to be taken for a six-week training starting from January 14th, 2019.

The selected officers are required to have at least two pairs of working uniforms, personal effects (essentials) and physical training Kits .

Some of the senior officers who were taken for the course include;  ASP Azira Grace from Kabalagala , ASP Kananuka Joshua from Wandegeya ,ASP Liiga Francis from CPS Kampala , ASP Twinomugisha Godfery from Old Kampala, among others.

The deputy police spokesperson SP Patrick Onyango confirmed to Spy Uganda that sending officers for training is normal procedure and it is aimed at increasing on the effectiveness at performing police duties.
