This however comes after police last week arrested the programs director of Baba FM Twahir Ddamulira and five others, who were detained them at Nalufenya police post over unknown charges.
According to Swengere, the radio station’s journalists are being arrested for hosting Bobi Wine and supporting the People Power movement.
He also revealed that the police hinted on arresting more Baba FM presenters who include; Kalyowa Atanansi, Kasolo Alton and Namulondo Zakia aka Mama Kalibbala.
This follows the arrest of veteran journalist Basajja Mivule aka Bwadene Nsolonkambwe , who was arrested Monday morning by security operatives who raided Baba TV. Mivule had a morning show on TV but, on arrival at the station, plain clothed security operatives bundled him into a vehicle and whisked him to unknown detention center.
