Just In: Bobi Wine’s Top Ghetto-TV Journalist Kasirye Shot By Police!

Kampala: Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi’s journalist Kasirye Ashraf (Saif-llah Senior Ashraf Kasirye, Facebook names) has been shot by security operatives.

Ashraf who works for Ghetto Media, an online media channel affiliated to Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) has been shot in Masaka while National Unity Platform presidential flag bearer was going to Lwengo for his campaign trail.

“Police in Masaka has shot Kasirye Ashraf, one of our journalists who work with Ghetto media as we headed to Lwengo district for our campaigns. He is severely bleeding from the head and feared to be dead,” NUP posted on its official Facebook page.

However, as we report this, we have learnt that he has regained his conscious and is getting better. Its suspected he was shot at with canister, according to NUP supporter Henry Sekanjako who has just checked on him at Masaka referral hospital.
