Thespy Uganda, your true investigative website can confirm that today Monday May 20, 2019 cabinet sat and approved Fort Portal town to become a Tourism City and will thus be called Fort Portal Tourism City beginning 2020.
Cabinet also approved Mbarara,Gulu and Arua towns as cities. All the above will commence in 2020. Fort Portal municipality MP Alex Ruhunda had last week intimated to media that some selfish politicians from Toro sub region were doing everything possible to fight the idea but added that he would also do everything possible in his means to deliver his people’s much desired dream. More details to follow…..
