The latest landing on our desk indicates that the former spokesperson of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council Nsereko Mutumba dubbed Kayunga Resident District Commissioner (RDC) has died at Rubaga Hospital.
The cause of his death remains unknown but his death comes just one week after returning from attending RDC retreat at Kyankwanzi which closed on July 31.
His death has been confirmed by Deputy Presidential Press Secretary Faruk Kirunda who has described his death as a big blow not just to the Muslim fraternity but to the entire country.
He says Mutumba was a respected opinion leader and worked for peace, unity, and development.
