Kampala: Police heavily deployed at the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) headquarters in Najjanankumbi ahead of the unveiling of Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago as its new member.
Lukwago and former FDC president Dr Kiiza Besigye who was the guest of honour both arrived at the venue for the event that also doubled as the launch of the party’s 2021 election road map.
Police came at a time when several members of FDC including Nakawa Member of Parliament Michael Kabaziguruka were jubilating as they welcomed Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago into the fold.
