Kampala: It is not good news to the National Unity Platform (NUP) camp after Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake has allegedly been beaten by President Museveni’s Special Forces Command (SFC) officers.
Reports have it that Zaake met this unfortunate incident when he tried to bypass the presidential convoy’s car that saw SFC officers jumping off a jeep that was behind him and beat him like a snake.
Reports add that after smashing him, SFC reportedly drove off before Zaake was rushed to a hospital in Jinja.
Meanwhile, NUP president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has since confirmed this incident and actually revealed that it is not only Zaake but a couple of his supporters have also been badly beaten.
In the same vein, Kyagulanyi reported that his security guard and gardener were also arrested from his home in Magere, Wakiso District in what he called ”house arrest” resisting him from going to Kayunga to campaign for his candidate.
