Allan Okello and Timothy Awany scored in either half as KCCA ended their winless away run against Onduparaka at the Green Light stadium, Arua.

The visitors came into the game on the back of a disappointing goalless draw at home to Kirinya Jinja SS and were under pressure to return to winning ways.
As early as the 6th minute, Okello broke the deadlock with a header with Mustafa Kizza bagging an assist from a free kick after Denis Okot brought down Patrick Kaddu down the left.

The goal gave the Kasasiro boys, who prior to the game had failed to pick maximum points in Arua against the Caterpillars confidence but also had defend well to ensure a 1-0 cushion going into the break.

In the second half, KCCA started slowly as Onduparaka attacked but then went 2-0 thanks to skipper Timothy Awany header off a corner.

At this juncture, the visitors were in control although Asaph Mwebaze’s boys re-energized in search for at least a consolation forcing Charles Lukwago to make a telling save.
Former KCCA skipper Denis Okot survived a red card when he brutally tackled Okello but referee Mashood Ssali instead dished out a yellow.

The win takes KCCA’s to seven points, same as URA who won 1-0 against Ndejje University but the Tax Collectors are on top thanks to a better goal difference.
