Hundreds of people have stormed former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s farm on the outskirts of Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, and walked away with an unknown number of animals.

The intruders also cut down trees using power saws, stole livestock, and set the farm on fire.

A similar attack was also reported in a firm belonging to the family of opposition leaders Raila Odinga.

The motive of the attack was not immediately established.

However, earlier last week, sources said that Kenyan Kwanza leaders intended to organize locals to swarm President Kenyatta’s property.

These politicians have been blaming the ex president for supporting the current Azimio wing protests against the administration of President William Ruto.

Raila and his supporters are pressing the government to tackle the high cost of living.

Azimio is also requesting that the president include them in the decision-making for IEBC officials as well as the intriguing launch of IEBC servers.

Most businesses remained closed for the better part of Monday morning as Raila supporters engaged police in running battles for a second week.

Raila announced that they will be participating in the mass protest twice a week– Monday and Thursday.
