Kenzo Speaks Out On Canceled ‘Semyekozo’ Concert

By Spy Uganda

All fans and lovers of Kenzo’s music are sulking and brooding after news circulated that  the ‘Semyekozo’ concert which was slated for March 28, 2020, at Lugogo Independence Grounds, has since been postponed.

To make matters even worse, Eddy Kenzo and his Big Talent management have not yet communicated another date on which the concert will be held.

The ‘Semyekozo’ concert was postponed as a result of President  Yoweri Museveni’s directives suspending all public gatherings like music concerts, church and mosque gatherings, political rallies, sports games, and other functions that  attract masses of people.

The directives, which also saw the closure of all schools, universities, tertiary institutions and public offices, are aimed at mitigating the prevention and spread of the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Communication from Eddy Kenzo’s Big Talent management

However, when our Spies got in touch with Kenzo’ Big Talent management,  this all they had to say;
” Big Talent regrets to inform our fans that the Eddy Kenzo Festival has been postponed and the new dates shall be communicated as soon as the health situation stabilises. Please observe the Ministry of Health Guidelines for your safety. (www.littlegermanytucson.com) ”

However, cancellation of the concert comes as a huge blow  to the singer and his management, especially because they had spent millions of shillings in bookings, promoting and sponsoring the show.
