There was Joy in the business community around Kampala after a renowned city businessman who was recently kidnapped by unknown gun men from his home in Kyengera a Kampala suburb a few days ago was found in Luweero district.
Henry Sematiko was abducted on 25 May 2018 as he was entering the gate of his home. Acase was later reported to police by his wife a one Rehema Nakawoya.
On Thursday morning, Sematiko was found in Wobulenze by some by passers tied in ropes while unconscious the good samaritans called police who rushed to the scene.
He was later rushed to Mulago Referral Hospital for further medical attention.
It’s said that the motive of the abductors would be the ongoing wrangles surrounding the current management of Kasubi market where the victim is an active member.
One suspect in relation to the kidnap has been arrested as police continues with investigations.
More than 80 reports of kidnap have been recorded by police in the last three months, according to records by the now disbanded Flying Squad Unit and the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID).
