KikuuboOnline Slashes Delivery Fees By 50% To Help Retail Businesses & Households In Lockdown

Uganda’s leading online shop KikuuboOnline has simplified online shopping after announcing in a statement seen by our spy that they have slashed delivery fees by 50% to help their clients who are struggling with COVID-19 lockdown.

“Following the Presidential directive in his address on June 18th 2021 on curbing the spread of COVID-19, the management of KikuubOOnline has announced a 50% slash on delivery fees to support businesses and house holds during the lockdown,” partially reads the statement.

It’s worth noting that even before this new lockdown, Kikuubo Online has been running a campaign dubbed stay home, stay safe the last few weeks in an effort to urge Ugandans to restrict non essential movement, avoid crowds and opt to shop Online as Online shopping keeps everyone safe and healthier.

In his last night’s address, the President highlighted that retail shops will remain open and also directed Kikuubo down town remains closed during the lockdown.

As a result therefore, Kikuubo says being an online wholesaler, they will be bridging the gap of providing stock to the retail shops in and around Kampala, “we will however bring Kikuubo to the retailers at 50% subsidised delivery cost.”

“We also double as an Online supermarket which delivers grocery items to households from our over 3,500 products which are used on a day to day basis in homes,” statement adds.

KikuuboOnline further notes that their team will be ready to deliver essential products with safety measures in place like contactless  delivery through mobile money, gloves, sanitizers and masks.
