The Kyabazinga of Busoga His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV on Wednesday joined Christians at St. Mark Church of Uganda in Kamuli District to celebrate the 2019 Christmas.
The Kyabazinga congratulated his subjects upon reaching this year’s Christmas and urged them to love one another as God loved His people.
In his message, the Kyabazinga thanked the leadership of the church for the construction of St Mark’s church.
He also thanked Christians for their commitment to Christ by bringing their children close to God and taking them to school.
The Kyabazinga also reminded his subjects not to be extravagant in this festive season and save money for school fees of their children and other necessities.
The Monarch closed the session by cutting a cake with the children who had attended Sunday School prayers on the same day.
The prayers were led by Parish Priest Rev. Canon Rebecca Mudondo.
“I will speak out to encourage Jerusalem; I will not be silent until she is saved, And her victory shines like a torch in the night,” Mudondo preached.
Also present at the Christmas church service were Justice Dr. Kitimbo Esther Kisakye the supreme court Judge and her Husband, Mr. Henry Dhikusoka the director of St Michael secondary school and the Deputy Clark to Parliament Waiswa Henry, goveenment officials, Royals among others.
