President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has attended the funeral service for Maj. Ian Kangaho, a nephew of first lady Janet Kataaha Museveni this morning at All Saints Cathedral in Kampala.
At 55, Ian was very young. Previously, people were dying young because of poor services. For example Ian’s grandfather, Edward Kataaha, died at 55. However, there are better services now and people die older.
“I was told that Ian died of lung cancer. To the young people, yes death comes,but live responsibly. We want to get the best out of you and your talents” he said.
He added, “We, therefore, must identify the risk factors and get rid of them. It is why I keep asking young people to shun alcohol, smoking and promiscuity. Let’s get rid of them”.
“I thank the mourners for coming in big numbers to see off Ian. May the Almighty God grant his soul eternal rest”.
