Madoxx, Naava Thrill Guests At Inaugural Nsiimye Thanksgiving Dinner

Celebrated musicians Naava Grey and Maddox Sematimba put up a historic show at the inaugural Nsiimye Thanksgiving dinner, which was held at Serena hotel, Kampala, on Saturday.

Bullion Events, the company that organised the dinner, opened a chapter in Uganda’s records by organising a very successful maiden event, which was aimed at giving Ugandans an opportunity to thank people who have done great things on their lives this year.

The Nsiimye dinner was organized to celebrate people who have walked the 2019 journey with families, bosses, clients, colleagues, employees and friends as well as to appreciate those who have made a difference in the lives of people around them.

By the time it clocked 8: 30Pm, guests had already filled the venue and were already thanking each other as more people streamed in.

Bullion Events Management lined up performances from Uganda’s favourite artistes like Maddox Ssematimba, celebrated guitarist Myko Ouma, ‘Nkwegomba’ hit Maker Kenneth Mugabi, R&B soul artiste Naava Grey, Jose Sax, Steve Keys and comedians who entertained the guests.

Guests who attended the event were also treated to a sumptuous dinner that composed of local and exotic cuisines plus multitudinous tribes of drinks.

The dinner which was initiated by Pastor Wilson Bugembe, was blessed event, which started with a prayer from the man of God, who later entertained guests with his gospel hits like ‘Meme Yange’, ‘Speed’ and other songs.  The event was also graced by deputy army spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Deo Akiiki Asiimwe who came hand in hand with his lovely wife Mercy Akiiki.

Among other key guests that honoured the event were Joe Kigozi Chief of Strategy at Next Media, Miss Uganda Zaharah Muhamad Nakiyaga, among others.

Akiiki thanked his beloved wife Mercy Akiiki and Colonel Barigye Mahoko for mentoring him during his service in the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF).

Bullion Events Management Spokesperson Yvonne thanked fans who understood the concept and not only attended event but also thanked those who had done great things in their lives.

“We thank all our fans who took time off their daily routines to indulge in a night of recognizing and celebrating those that have been instrumental in making the walk through 2019 worthwhile. Let’s keep together for the incoming next year’s show,” Yvonne said.

She added that “The dinner was successful and as the concept stated ‘Nsiimye’, our aim is to organize this event. It not about profit orientation but a way of giving back to our clients and we thank all our partners including TheSpy Uganda, Johnnie Walker and Serena Hotel.”
