Banana Republic, Kampala: In a special meeting on Friday, MAK University Senate has resolved to reschedule the 71st graduation ceremony from March 2021 to 10th May 2021.
The Senate also passed a resolution to only allow Masters and Doctorate (PhD) graduands to access the graduation ceremony physically which will be held at Freedom Square inside the campus as a means of enforcing SoPs in control against the spread of Covid-19.

All other graduands will follow via live televised coverage and the university’s official social media platforms.
On there hand, the University has announced that fresher students should mark that the deadline for change of Programmes/Subjects for the 2020/2021 Academic year will be Friday 5th March 2021. There will be no further extension of the exercise. Applicants can only change after receiving a letter of authorization from the Academic Registrar.

The University further announced that the Bachelor of Journalism and Communication is full and expect no more entries and no applicants for change to this programme will be considered for the 2020/2021 Academic year.

In the same vein, Bachelor of Dental Surgery has 7 slots for Direct Entrants (‘A-Level) available for change of programme for Private Sponsorship for 2020/2021 Academic year.
