Man United Fans Angry Over Fred’s Performance During Newcastle Game

Manchester United lost. Again. This time, it even made an extremely poor Newcastle United l look good as they picked up all three points in the 1-0 victory.

For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the pressure is mounting quickly. Injuries certainly aren’t helping his case, but the decision to thin the squad out over the summer is seriously hurting the Old Trafford club right now.

Comfortably the worst spot in this United squad is midfield. When Paul Pogba is missing, there’s no creativity whatsoever and it’s going to take an individual moment of brilliance for United to score.

Fred was given an opportunity to start and  it’s fair to say this may be his last for a while. There was some truly shocking performances from Reds players over the last few years, but this weekends outing from the Brazilian comfortably tops that list.

The 26-year-old was so sloppy in possession and the poor display had United fans ranting in their droves on social media. Some even went as far as saying he could be United’s worst signing of all time. Given the colossal amount of money involved, “I’m struggling to disagree. Honestly, I still don’t know what he’s good at…” fans comments

They added “Fred is the worst signing in our history. £50-60m for a cowardly midfielder who’s afraid to pass the ball forward and can’t shoot is terrible. Tried to be supportive but he’s not helping himself.”

Tom Tallis who is also Afan said Fred should never be in a United shirt again – £60mil?! Behave. Didnt play one pass forward all game.
How ever SmnLlyd5 also a fan said here are plenty to choose from but Fred might actually be the worst signing United have made since Ferguson. Expensive and consistently woeful. He can’t pass it forward without giving it away and doesn’t seem able to make a tackle. He’s just… there.
