Democratic Party (DP) President Norbert Mao today coiled his tail and accepted to hand over leadership of that Inter-Party Organisation Dialogue (IPOD) chairmanship to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president Patrick Oboi Amuriat aka POA.
The hand over, which was long overdue, was held at Fairway Hotel, Kampala, during which FDC Secretary General Nathan Nandala Mafabi took over as Chairman of the Council while President Patrick Oboi Amuriat will head the Summit.
On October 28, FDC spokesman Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda said they were ready to take over the position, although Mao then claimed that FDC had to first fulfill some conditions before they could take over the IPOD leadership.
