Mbarara City Sack Assistant Coach Brian Senyondo

Mbarara: Mbarara City FC have officially parted ways with youthful coach Brian Ssenyondo.

Ssenyondo 26 years, was serving as the club’s assistant coach after the appointment of Paul Nkata as the new head coach early this week.

The Youthful tactician served as Mbarara City’s head coach on an interim basis for two and a half months.

Ssenyondo guided Mbarara City to a third place finish in the Pilsner Super 8 but only managed one win in the first five league games.

Baker Kasule who has been the club’s technical director, is the new assistant coach, a post he previously held under Livingstone Mbabazi’s tenure.

Ali Tabule takes up the club’s technical director role replacing Kasule while Maurice Maate is the new Physical and Performance Instructor.

The Mbarara outfit is expected to announce a new goalkeeping coach in a few hours to come.

Mbarara City will play against Busoga United in their next league game on 1st October.
