Kampala: If word going around is anything to go by, then celebrity couple Edwin Katamba aka MC Kats and singer Filled Mutoni are an item once again.
Word from our Spy is that Kats and Fille seem to have reached at the conclusion of their beef and are ready to push the past behind them, such that they can move on as ‘husband and wife’ again.
Their said reunion came to manifestation on Friday September 20, 2019, when Kats posted thus on social media; “I woke up in the morning and asked myself, “If God can give His son for us to be clean, who the f**k is me not to forgive anybody?”
So, ladies and gentlemen, I’m back working with Fille Music. Go tell the world.”
He further noted that just like he made Shammy K a renowned artiste among several in the music industry in such a short time, he can do the same for Fille and he plans to hold a concert for his baby mama in 2020.
Mc Kats and his baby mama Fille separated last year after developing irreconcilable differences.
He accused her of frolicking with city men behind his back, while she accused him of being hobnobbing with city slay queens too.
The two have been living separately since they split and it’s not clear if they will move in together again after their reunion.
However, it should be noted that during the time they have been living separate lives, Fille’s music career drastically dropped in ratings and she was no longer getting bookings for gigs as she used to do during the time she was on good terms with Kats.
It said that Fille lost millions of shillings in payments for booking since all promoters both in Uganda and abroad could not book her for shows without Kats’ input.
However, too many of Kats’ friends, it has always been said that he never really moved on and despite trying to paint a picture that he is over Fille and doing well in his life he greatly missed his lover.
But he later came clean about the matter after he revealed that his life wasn’t in perfect condition because the puzzle was missing a piece in Fille and he wanted her back in his life, which is about not far from happening.
