Kampala: According to reports about Naguru based Next Media Services housing NBS TV among others, their popular show host Edwin Katamba a.k.a MC Kats is counting days to quit the station.

Katamba who has been co-hosting the NBSAfter5 show with colleagues, Douglas Lwanga, DJ Roja, and talented DVJ Mercy Pro, is reportedly quitting the station to concentrate on his HIV/AIDS education campaigns.

In fact, TheSpy Uganda has learnt that the development comes a few days after Kats few days ago signed a juicy deal with Uganda Aids Commission and other health organizations to run the “End Aids By 2030” campaign.

In the same vein, it is reported that NBS TV bosses are in talks with Nation TV (NTV)’s Crysto Panda to replace Kats.

Meanwhile, something worth noting here is that MC Kats started TV life with defunct WBS TV as a teenager co-presenting Teens’ Club before joining NTV as Xpozed show presenter. From there, he was hooked by NBS and later joined by Lwanga still from NTV and now Cysrto Panda as rumoured.
