Kampala: Uganda Cranes 30 man delegation led by Juma Marhan and Abdul Hamid will have a friendly match with Ethiopian national team on October 13, 2019, 4:00 pm, at Ethiopian National stadium Bahir Dar.
Prior to the Match, Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry has made two changes in the team. McKinstry had earlier named a squad of 20 which did not include any local-based players and his decision left many wondering with unanswered questions.
However, due to mounting pressure from local teams, McKinstry has now added two local-based ballers; these are Krizestom Ntambi from Vipers SC and Wakiso Giants and Allan Kayiwa as a goalkeeping coach and the duo have replaced Mike Azira who plays at Chicago Fire in the USA and Khalid Acho who was at first added on the team list.
McKinstry will be assisted by Charles Livingstone Mbabazi, Fred Kajoba (goalkeeping coach), McCarthy Alexander Michael (fitness coach), Emmanuel Nakabago (team doctor) and Frank Bumpenje as the kits manager.
