Tumwebaze handed over the assorted items to the Anti-COVID-19 Taskforce in Kamwenge district on Tuesday this week, shortly after which he tweeted thus; “I met our Kamwenge district COVID19UG taskforce today morning and we discussed the readiness of our district system and operations of our Hub at Rukunyu. The health workers are doing a great job. I donated through the DHO, to our health workers protective gear materials worth Shs5.5m.”
He added that “The protective gear materials bought from JMS include; gloves, detergents, masks, aprons & boots for the frontline health workers. I also gave 250 litres of diesel to the emergency district vehicles. I am happy that our people are compliant and are taking this #COVID19UG fight seriously.”
