Part of Ssebuliba’s letter to court

Last week, High Court Judge Musa Ssekaana issued an interim order restraining Ssebuliba, his agents, servants, associates, advisors or anyone acting upon his instructions from interfering with the 33 properties/ businesses.

Kiwanuka has since placed caveats on the companies which include among others; UNIPLUS LTD, SUMMIT GROUP LTD, UNIGOUP LTD, CENTRAL TRUST LTD, VISA INVESTMENTS LTD,  PREPRESS SERVICES LTD, METROSERVICES LTD

Because of the conflict between them,  Sebuliba  wants court to grant him the powers of attorney to manage the estate of behalf of the family and he has allegedly support from his mother Maria Kiwanuka.

However,  Kiwanuka asserts that he toiled to build his business from scratch to where it is now. He contends  that he is not mentally ill and that Ssebuliba is not even his biological son.

Kiwanuka, in a statement he recorded at police last week, stated that  Ssebuliba went beyond the limit after he sought a court  order  declaring that his father is no longer capable of rational judgment and thus unable to continue operating as Managing Director for his companies.

Kiwanuka told police that “My son Ssebuliba  worsened matters  when he chose to cover up his greed for my property by dragging my wife Maria Kiwanuka into the saga.”

Kiwanuka said he  stripped his son of the roles of company secretary and appointed Francis Buwule of Buwule and Mayiga Advocates in the same position.

Kiwanuka said in his statement that “I also hereby acknowledge that decision to appoint Maria Nabasirye Kiwanuka as company director. My wife has served as minister of finance of Uganda. I believe she has the competence which the companies can benefit from,

He also added that “I have endeavored to provide Ssebuliba a promising future. His powers as a company secretary were revoked by me.”

Kiwanuka Spills Family Secrets

Our Spy reveals that Kiwanuka has two wives; Maria and Beatrice. Beatrice is the mother of Ssebuliba.

But in the written statement to police, Kiwanuka said: “Ssebuliba Kiwanuka has been known as my son, although he is not. I have always disputed his paternity since he was born…his mother is aware and the name Ssebuliba was given to him by my brother Abbot.”
