Kampala: The Uganda Muslim supreme council (UMSC) has blasted Sheik Nuhu Batte Muzaata for insulting singer Eddy Musuuza Kenzo.
Spy Uganda has learnt that Muslim Sheiks and Hajji are not settled following Muzata’s words. In his speech at Rema’s Kwajula ceremony earlier this week, the Muslim leader spoke some strong words as he congratulated Rema upon her achievement. The words he said are largely believed to have been directed to Eddy Kenzo.
“Rema, you have survived the love ni**as who don’t marry. They always have excuses that they’re still observing if the woman has the same qualities as their mother. Are you stupid? Go and marry your mother,” Muzaata Said.
The UMSC spokesperson Hajji Nsereko Mutumba, blamed sheik Muzaata that he should respect himself as a sheik and speak what he deserves. He advised him to apologise to singer Kenzo, his fans, the Muslim community and all Ugandans.
“Speaking assaulting words towards others does not make you qualify as a sheik, you should learn to speak the truth at the right time and at the right place”
Hajji Abdallah Maweje at Masjid Madina Kasubi said, Sheik Muzaata should learn how to control his mouth and temper. Mawejje added that Sheik Muzaata would rather talk to Rema and Kenzo with an aim of bringing peace among the two because they are parents. He Urged Muzaata to apologise to Kenzo and his supporters.
However, Mawejje further blamed Rema of involving Kenzo’s daughter in the Kwanjula celemony and also putting teir wrankles in media.
He advised Kenzo to remain calm and pray to Allah to provide another good wife better than Rema.
