Buikwe Woman Member of parliament and gospel singer Hon. Judith Babirye has introduced her fellow Member of Parliament, Hon. Paul Musoke, Buikwe County North MP.
The function happened on Saturday 28th July afternoon in a secret place due to the tension from Musoke’s first wife who has been branding Hon Babirye as a man snatcher.
The function was attended strictly by invited guests especially members of parliament and ‘A’ class of Ugandan business community.
It is said the two lovebirds have been secretly dating for close to 2 years and decided to legalize their relationship through an introduction ceremony.
Babirye, 40, had been married to Samuel Niwo with whom they have one daughter. However, early last year, Babirye filed for divorce saying that their marriage had been stormy and characterized with sadness owing to what she described as Niwo’s cruel, erratic, male-violent behaviour and lack of respect to the sanctity of their marriage celebrated at Rubaga Miracle centre years ago.
On the other hand, MP Musoke, 44, a pilot by profession who is equally a first timer in Parliament had been single before he set his eyes on Babirye.
Before coming to Parliament, he was chairperson LC3 for Njeru Trading Centre.
Meanwhile, Provia Nangobi, the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) spokesperson, told TheSpy that Babirye is still registered as married to her first husband, Samuel Niiwo.
