Our Spies have learnt that Mwijukye led a group of pilgrims from Butare Parish in Mbarara district, with who he walked to Namugongo. They walked all the way from Mbarara up to the Martyrs Shrine, and are currently ready to receive blessings from the Lord. While commenting about  their  journey to Namugongo,  Mwikukye said thus;

“Thee journey of Faith. We have finally arrived at Namugongo Catholic Uganda martyrs shrine for a pilgrimage. We were welcomed by Hon Lucy Akello, Amuru district Woman MP, one of this year’s organisers from Gulu Diocese and the Greater Butare parish Kampala leaders led by Tumwine Deo and Maria Junda. Thank you everyone for your support.” Mwijukye and others are set to join millions of pilgrims from all over the world who are converging at the Uganda Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo on June 3rd, 2019.
