Kampala: Makerere University Business School will resume semester two of the 2019/2020 academic year for continuing students next week-the university has confirmed.
According to the letter from Eldred Kyomuhangi who is the Acting School Registrar, the resumption of lectures by continuing students to complete semester two of the academic year 2019/2020 has been scheduled to commence on Monday 14 December 2020 and end on December 22 and exams will be done in January 2021.
According to Kyomuhangi, lectures will be online but the examinations will be offered in a typical classroom setting, adding that students who may not be able to access online lectures will be allowed to access a recorded version of the lectures.
Kyomuhangi further noted that there will be a one hour training sessions on how to use the MUBS E-learning platform and training will commence on Thursday to Friday December 10 and 11, 2020 respectively.

Educational institutions closed down in March this year following a presidential directive in a bid to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus. In October, President directed schools to open for finalists and candidates to resume with the ministry of healthy SOPs while other continuing students remained at home till futher notice.
